He is hilarious, she is shy.
They were laughing simultaneously.
It was the cutest thing! Everrrrr…..
Anisa & Ibrahim’s destination wedding was celebrated by their loved ones at Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah, Oman. Both my associate photographer and I feel honored to be able to witness & document their first day as husband and wife. A huuuge shoutout to Ibrahim’s sisters and mom for being beyonddddd amazing, taking care of the travel and accommodation, and showing so much hospitality. My heart will always be grateful, for everything!
Dearest Anisa & Ibrahim,
Thank you from the deepest core of my heart for trusting me with your wedding day, for the hospitality by your families, and for simply being awesome. I genuinely feel humbled by your kindness and all the laughs we shared even after the party. May the Almighty keeps you both healthy, happy, more successful, and always finding yourself deeper and deeper in love with each other, ameen.
His heart was like a glass.
Clean. Spotless. Filled to the brim with love for her.
When he thought he can’t love more than this, the sight of her as a bride must have added more love to his heart. Because it spilled in the form of tears.
It took Mohamed at least 4 minutes to get himself together again. He wasn’t to be blamed though. Lamya truly is a stunning girl with a heart of gold. It was like a moment of shinning stars and light when blessings were bestowed from the sky as they became each others, forever. They deserved love in the purest of forms hence they found each other.
If I am ever given a chance to write a novel, I would keep them both in mind as my modern day’s Romeo & Juliet….with a happily ever after!
Mohamed and Lamya celebrated their grand wedding in Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Center, Sharjah. Dream Weddings did a splendid job at decorating a geometrically artistic kosha/stage. Lamya wore a remarkable bridal gown from Monique Lhuillier topped with a crown by Dar Tijan, and Gina heels. She carried an exceptionally unique bouquet from Moz Flowers.
My dearest Lamya & Mohamed,
I have no words to describe how I absolutely, whole-heartedly, adoreeeeeeeeeeeeee both of you – and your love! You two have a very special place in my heart. Meeting, watching, and documenting your love has left me speechless. And utterly grateful! Yes, I feel very very grateful because of you & your trust in me and my work. I am indebted for you for opening your hearts and letting me watch & document your love story unfold in front of my eyes. May Allah showers you both with his highest favors & may your love grows deeper and stronger with every passing millisecond, ameen.
Tons & tons of love,
The stars definitely shinned brighter that night.
She did a full twirl as he held her hand, followed by a hug.
It looked like a perfect ending of a fairytale Disney princess movie. The only difference was that it was the beginning of their happily ever after…
She seemed to come straight out of Elle or Vogue magazine.
With model-like features yet poise of a princess, and a beauty mark under the lower lip, Amal made a phenomenal bride. As much as I was amazed by Amal’s beauty & Saeed’s love for Amal, I was impressed by their choice of details and style. The intricate henna on her hands, a unique hairstyle, the laced bridal gown, and a remarkable bouquet represented her keen sense of beauty and creativity.
Saeed & Amal celebrated their beautiful wedding day at Al Jawaher RCC in Sharjah. The ballroom was decorated with lots of red & gold colors by Forever Events. Amal designed her own wedding invitation cards and stationary very artistically. She wore a beautiful lacey dress from Esposa, shoes from YSL, a stunning crown from Dar Tijan, and carried a very unique bouquet from Qaser Al Joori.
Dear Amal & Saeed,
Thank you super much for trusting and choosing me to document your wedding day. I thoroughly enjoyed myself photographing your beauty, love, and adorable chemistry. I feel beyonddddddd honored because you both gave me full permission to be creative. I pray that your love always be like a shinning star brightening even the darkest of times. May Allah bestows all the happiness & love upon you and keeps you both amongst his most blessed ones forever, ameen.
She is pretty. She has always been…
What turned her prettiness into beautiful was her confidence.
He was stealing glances at her.
And smiled broadly every time he got caught.
I don’t blame him though. She looked remarkable and astonishingly beautiful.
Yes, with that much beauty, I had to use two adjectives to describe it.
Maryam & Mohamed’s wedding celebrations were held in Multaqua Hall of Dubai World Trade Center. The ballroom decorations left me speechless because of its grand stage/kosha by Omar & Mohamed. Maryam’s beautiful bridal gown was customized and brought all the way from Turkey. She wore Saint Laurent‘s white heels and carried Fiore Design‘s classic bouquet.
As the ballroom looked grand with all its glory, I was extremely impressed by Maryam’s attention to details and thoughtful props. Customized perfumes had Maryam and Mohamed’s logo printed on the perfume bottles for guests to take home as party favors. She had a cute calendar to mark her wedding date, uber cute cake topper, cushions, and dress hangers for her and Mohamed.
Before you scroll through this breathtaking wedding, don’t forget to say “MashaAllah” 😉
Maryam got Mohamed’s photo hand-drawn as nail-art.
Dear Maryam & Mohamed,
I feel so grateful to call you both friends! Photographing your engagement, henna, and wedding day has been nothing short of exciting. Maryam, all three days of your wedding celebrations were beyond perfect because you put your heart and soul into the planning and every little detail spoke for itself. I pray that Mohamed always spoils you with his utmost attention and care that you deserve. May Allah showers you both with infinite happiness, joy, more beauty, and love. ameen.
It is very rare for me to see a bride and groom so relaxed and comfortable on their big day. It is quite normal for anxieties to run high on your wedding day but, Maryam and Mutar, the two interacted with each other in such a calm, gentle, and loving manner was proof that they completed each other and were truly made for each other.
I couldn’t help but admire how Mutar kept Maryam engaged in conversation all evening. The whole room was filled with the family and friends, but these two could not keep your eyes off each other! The saying is true- “when your beloved is by your side, nothing else matters!”
Overall, the beautiful couples’ wedding was the epitome of CLASSY and TASTE! The banquet hall was regally decorated in hues of purple and gold, and the kosha/stage was draped in golden leaves that bounced off different shades of purple lights creating a stunning visual effect, enhancing my photos for the evening. Maryam, in her classy white and lacey gown looked breathtaking. She dazzled in her diamond jewelry but I have to say her tiara stole the show. It was so unique and glamorous and looked like Frozen’s Princess Elsa’s crown.
Dear Maryam & Mutar,
I pray that you forever find each other a source of peace and tranquility like I witnessed on your wedding day! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day and trusting me to capture those moments that you will cherish for years to come, inshAllah. Ameen.
Oh boy, where do I begin? From the moment I entered the venue I knew this engagement would be one vibrant and lively occasion. Fatma was in the midst of being dolled up when I arrived so I turned to the banquet hall to cover the decor and kosha/stage shots first.
They say “everything that glitters is not gold” but that was not the case here. Everything glamorously glittered because everything WAS gold! From the beautiful ornate candelabras to the little delicately packaged wedding favors everything was gilded in gold and looked STUNNING. The decorators did an excellent job bringing to life the hall at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah.
…and that was only the beginning. I was just about finished shooting the decor when I was informed that Fatma was ready. Upon entering her bridal suite, my jaw dropped. I had yet to see such a bold and daring engagement dress. Fatma wore it confidently, like no other. The royal blue dress was adorned with colorful peacock feathers and Fatma paired it perfectly with matching blue Christian Dior heels. To top everything off, Fatma’s jewelry dazzled from across the room and was hard to miss.
Dearest Fatma and Saeed,
You both made my job so fun that day. Both of you had such bubbly and attractive personalities and I only pray you bring even more life, vibrancy and color to each others’ lives, ameen.
She was smiling as usual.
Slightly nervous yet smiling. And radiating. She was definitely radiating a lot. And why wouldn’t she? It was the day she had been planning & waiting for.
He entered the bridal suite, kissed her forehead. I smiled as I saw her level of nervousness reduce. And she smiled wider. Radiating more. He looked at her and smiled too. ‘Perfect!’ I thought to myself while watching them from behind my camera. The moment was perfect. The day was perfect. The smiles were perfect. They looked perfect. My heart did its happy dance and then…..it melted!
What would you call a day full of details, joys, lots of dancing, and sparkling broad smiles? A perfect day?!? Well, I call it Fatma & Yaqoub’s wedding day.
Fatma & Yaqoub celebrated their wedding in the beautiful Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai. Fatma looked dazzling in her simple yet utterly gorgeous bridal gown from Arushi Couture and shoes by Jimmy Choo. The stage/kosha and ballroom was decorated by TableessayisT with lots of purple and gold; and hints of pink & red. I loved the cake topper with Fatma & Yaqoub written in Arabic calligraphy. Also, the huuuuge chandelier on top of the stage added an extra flare to the photos.
Dearest Fattoum & Yaqoub,
I can’t begin to tell you how thankful I am, yet again, from the bottom of my heart for your absolute trust. And friendship. And everything in between. You two are amazing and I’m so very sure that you two will make each other’s lives more fuller, more complete, and more awesome. May Allah showers your both with endless blessings, bounties, and countless ‘perfect’ moments for both of you to cherish together. Forever!
When Louma (from Design by Louma) and Zeina from Jive Events asked me to be a part of a styled photo-shoot they were planning, I absolutely jumped on the opportunity. Not only because I knew them for quite some time, but also because I am well aware of how great they are at what they do. I knew they are both professionals and best in their leagues & won’t settle for anything that is less than perfect!
My heart is beaming as I share some photos from “The Glamorous Affair” styled shoot. Heavy florals with a lot of blooms in soft and delicate shades were paired with crystal centerpieces. Peonies, white anemones, and roses in white, cream and pink were perfectly paired with soft greenery for contrast. Shades of pleasing pinks and gold created a feel of luxury to the décor and pops of bright pink & gold added the extra edge – or should I say Glamour – to it all.
Here is a short video trailer from the shoot.
Hope you are ready to handle the Glllaaaaammmmour! 😉

“Aysha, are you SHEIKHA Sheikha or is your name Sheikha?!?” I asked.
She smiled politely and said “…I’m a Sheikha!” My eyes widened as this was my second meeting with her. I thought of alllllll the craziness and silliness I probably have had blunted out loud in both meetings. “So…umm…do I call you Your Highness?” I asked again just to make sure if we are both on the same page. “No. I’m just the same Aysha for you.” As the smiles spread across her face as well as mine, I knew we well gel along well and her wedding will be great.
The fun doubled when I met Rashid on the wedding day. “So are you a Sheikh too?” Regretting talking before thinking. He too smiled and said yes. “You look so normal though!” I said bluntly without thinking again. “I mean like a normal guy.” He laughed out loud. I was sure, yet again, that it’ll be a great night.
And to say the least, this royal wedding was beyondddddddd great! Rashid & Aysha got married in the new Zabeel Hall 6 of Dubai World Trade Center. The glorious stage / kosha was decorated by Forever Events. Aysha opted to wear a customized bridal gown with intricate details, Jimmy Choo shoes, and looked breathtaking. The super talented Myriam Fares rocked the party with live singing. The rich combination of red and gold gave a beautiful backdrop for Aysha & Rashid’s photos and video. It won’t be wrong if we say that everything was truly fit for the Prince and his Princess!
Dearest Aysha & Rashid,
Thank you for trusting & hiring me to document your love, your love story (I need a separate blog for it 😉 ) & your magnificent day. My heart beamed every time I looked at both of you looking at each other. Thank you for inviting me as a friend and letting me witness how beautiful your love is. Also, thank you for SnapChatting live with me from your honeymoon in Paris 😀 I still laugh at the jokes we shared on your wedding day & pray that may Allah keeps you both smiling as genuinely and your hearts as humble as they are. Always!
