He entered the room and half-announced-half-requested that he wants to pray before we begin the photo-shoot. Secretly, I gave him an extra point for being awesome. He went into the other room and my team & I continued to photograph & make video of the ever so stunning bride.
It wasn’t even 10 minutes into the photo-shoot that I took a photo of her, looked at the back of my camera, and said out loud “Oh My Goshhhhh…..Marwa! You look go00oo0o0o0rg!” Next thing we know, the groom screamed from the other room “You look Hot, baby!” and the entire room bursted into laughter. And yes, I gave him 20/10.
Abdulla made jokes through out the night. They weren’t just funny jokes. They were hilarousssssssss jokes. Hilarious yet respectful. Playful. Marwa kept on giggling and pretty much denied everything Abdulla said. Except for one….
He said she was crazy about him. She giggled and denied.
He said she was dying to marry him. She laughed and denied.
He said it was love at first sight. She laughed. We all did.
But no one in that moment noticed that she didn’t deny him.
I smiled and gave him 100/10. For his loud-&-proud love.
Love that is visible through small gestures.
Through real smiles.
Raw Love….
Some weddings are perfect. Some are beyond perfect. Marwa & Abdulla’s wedding was the later one. As much joy as I felt during our first and second meeting, I was overjoyed with excitement when I entered her bridal suite at InterContinental – Festival City Hotel, Dubai. Makeup done on time by Haifa Safar. Hair made on time by Amy. Stage/Kosha, ballroom decoration, and bouquet were ready, perfectly in place, and on time by O&M. Stage lighting was beyond perfect. The amazing live-singer Wafa & her band brought life to the party. So much that even I, myself, danced on the stage. Marwa nailed every detail, including hiring the best set of professionals and her punctuality won my heart. Alllllll over again. I swear I was about to tap-dance. Only if I knew how to…
Dearest Marwa & Abdulla,
Where do I start? From our initial meetings to your perrrrrrrrrfect day, it was nothing short of amazing! Even days after your wedding, I couldn’t help but smile. That’s what your love has done to me. If not me physically, my heart still does a little tap-dance every time I think of both of you. So pure. So full of life. And so much in love. I pray to the Almighty that He always keep you both happy. May He gives you more than you ask for. May He showers his blessings upon you far more than you pray for. Marwa, I’m sure Abdulla’s score will increase as he continues to make you laugh. Forever. Cheers to your happily ever after…
I am in love with the love you both share!
