Its like no one exist when both of them are together.
They were laughing, joking, talking like two childhood buddies.
As much pleasure it was watching them lost in their own world, although I had no idea what the conversation was about as it was in Arabic, I just had to bring them back to the real world before we ran out of scheduled time.
“Hey guys. FOCUSSSSSS!!! Oh and by the way, I’m eating that cake before leaving.” I said out loud trying to control my laugh. They both said in chorus together “Absolutely!”
That’s the type of relationship Layla & Humaid share. Amongst themselves & I. They are adorable. The five minute golf-cart drive was extensively fun migrating ourselves & my equipment from her bridal suit to the private villa where I photographed these two lovebirds with Burj al Arab as the backdrop. We laughed throughout the photo-session as they remembered all the DOs & DON’Ts of the poses from their engagement party.
I was honored to photograph their beautiful engagement party last year and have been loving these two since then. And Yes Layla, the first time I met both of you, my heart melted 😉 Their wedding took place at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai. The best thing about their wedding was that they both surrounded themselves with vibrant, fun, and kind people…..loved them!

Humaid & Layla,
Thank you for choosing me, yet again, to share the best day of your lives (and the best cake of my life) with me. Sorry for eating it all 😀 I wish both of you always remain as true, honest, and fun human-beings as both of you are. Hope you guys are having fun in Australia. Bring back lots of photos and always remember: Chin out & down!
P.S. Great job Humaid for marrying the ever so gorgeous Layla. Home Run!!!! 😉
Love,
~ Rima
